Who will drop me to koramangala?

One hour return journey from my workplace(in koramangala) to home(in srinagar) always used to be tiring and boring. The speeding vehicles on the inner ring road, the bottle neck at the forum signal combined with noisy FM channels, can only increase a person's laziness and make him more jaded.
It was in Sep 2008, my wife moved to a company in koramangala; it was about 2.5 kms from my workplace. As most IT companies, both of us had this 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM working hours. I used to take the 5.30 PM cab from office and get down in koramangala, take a 300 meter walk to my wife's office and wait for her.

We both used to head back home together in her HONDA ACTIVA. Suddenly my return journey became more exciting, as we started exploring different eateries in and around jayanagar and gandhi bazar.
A return journey of one hour involved lots of talks from planning our child's education to solutions for traffic problems in bangalore. There is nothing more de-stressing than a ride back home on a two wheeler with your wife.

Everyday at 5 in the evening, i used to have this question in my mind that *who will drop me to koramangala?* if i missed my CAB. There was a colleague of mine who used to stay a street away from my wife's office. If i missed the cab, he used to drop me to koramangala in his Maruthi 800.
Our regular pit stops included;
- Pani puri stall near Jayanagar stadium
- Chats corner near NR colony
- Upahara Darshini near Cosmopolitan club
I urge all those who are kind of foodie to try out all the above places.

Change is the only thing which is not constant. Any repetitive event in life will soon see some changes. June 2010; we both had to move to different companies for obvious reasons. The happy moments of we both traveling back home together will end soon but the memories would still be cherished for rest of our lives.

Now the question of *Who will drop me to koramangala?* will never be asked again.
